One More Blogger Left this Realm in Great Fashion
The blogger Will H. Moore “punched out” last week. He left a suicide note on his blog – a very good one. I may borrow some of his paragraphs to include on mine.
As I understand his explanation, he would have liked to work on his professional field, but he could not find how to convince people to pay for his work. He partially took the blame, saying that he was the one who could not handle the necessary social interactions very well.
I think he would agree with this statement: it is easy to lure people to pay for the common denominator of needs (e.g. sex and food), but it is hard to entice them to pay for truth (e.g. scientific research) – especially when these people prefer lies.
He could have taken a seat on the government bandwagon and forced people to pay for his work, even if they were not interest on it, but he did not. He deserves praise for his choice. More people should follow his example of taking a peaceful exit. I will sing praises to anyone who do – until my turn arrives.
